The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, August 10 reveals Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will accuse Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) of manipulation.
Also coming up, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will plant a seed in Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) mind. Plus, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be shocked. And Jack and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will call a truce.
Y&R spoilers tease Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will ask Ashley and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) what’s in it for him. Ashley will say Simply Ashley will be a huge success and they’ll take over Jabot. But they’ll leave it as its own entity. “You will run the company, you won’t be under Jack’s shadow any more.” Then Billy will tell them he’s in. But as soon as they leave, he’ll text Jack and tell him Ashley and Tucker are on their way. “Be prepared for anything.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Diane Suggests He’s On Team Ashley
At the Abbott estate, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will ask Tucker and Diane to leave, as she tries to broker peace between her mother and her uncle. Ashley will say she would gladly walk away empty handed if she could walk away from him and Diane. “Buy me out and we are done.” Jack will tell Ashley if she can stop attacking Diane, he’ll do the same with Tucker. And they’ll agree to a truce. But Abby will worry the whole truce is just a ploy on her mother’s part.
Tucker and Diane will head to Society and Billy will be there. He’ll berate Diane and she’ll say she’s lost her appetite. Then she’ll run into Nikki on her way out. Nikki will tell her she got her son’s forgiveness and married the billionaire she’s been chasing for decades. “I’d really admire you if you weren’t so loathsome.”
At Crimson Lights, Diane will spot Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and invite her to sit down. Audra will say Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has managed to impress her. “Kyle belongs at Marchetti with his wife,” Diane will reply. But Audra will say maybe Kyle needs a break from everyone in his life and needs to put himself first. However, Diane will tell Audra she seems like a person who puts herself first. Later, Diane will return home and tell Jack she and Tucker ran into Billy and he played his part perfectly. “But maybe a little too well,” Diane will continue. “Do you think Ashley has actually turned Billy against us?”
At the GCAC, Adam will tell Audra he wants her to handle his request by the time he and his partners announce the new company. But she’ll point out that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is out of town. Then she’ll say if she convinces Victor, she wants to be second in command, with a guarantee in writing. “If you can deliver, this could work out well for both of us,” Adam will reply.

At Newman Enterprises, Nate will tell Victoria and Nikki he believes Adam is correct in thinking the new company will be redundant. “If we were to fold the two companies, I think we would have a powerhouse media company that would be unrivaled,” he’ll say. “Are you actually suggesting we defy Victor?” Nikki will ask. “What has gotten into you?” Nate will say his instincts tell him it’s a smart move and he wanted to get them both on board. “The more important factor is what’s best for Newman Enterprises overall.”
Finally, Nate will run into Adam, and he’ll accuse him of manipulating a situation to get what he wants and it’s pathetic. “Yeah, this coming from a guy who sold out his own family,” Adam will reply. But Nate will tell Adam he’s nothing like him. “Case in point, you wanted a plum role at a big company,” Adam will say. “You wanted to date a powerful woman and you’re with Victoria.” However, Nate will say it wasn’t calculated. “You know, there’s one significant difference between us,” Adam will tell him. “I know who I am, and I embrace it. You need to learn to do the same thing.”

I think Y&R storylines are so unrealistic. In real life if a wife kills her husband because she is in an abusive situation, she serves time for killing him. It is ridiculous that Phyllis is set free for killing Stark even if she was defending herself. It is such BS. I think it’s time I stop watching.
