The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, August 7 reveals Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will find herself battling on two fronts.
Also coming up, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) has had it with Christine Blair’s (Lauralee Bell) personal bias against her client. Plus, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will continue to undermine Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), as Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) seeks the truth. And Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will accept her mother’s job offer.
Y&R spoilers tease after arguing with Phyllis, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will head to Crimson Lights and run into Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). “Tessa and I have been talking a lot about this and we’ve finally come to a decision,” Mariah will tell her mom. “I’m going to leave Jabot and come work with you.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Christine’s Bordering On Misconduct
At the park, Daniel will tell his sister he hopes their mother takes the deal Christine offered. But his gut tells him she’s way more interested in protecting herself. However, Summer will say she’s not going to let their mom do this and will tell him to back off. Then he’ll go a step further and meet with Heather, telling her to encourage Phyllis to take the deal. But Heather will tell him to leave it alone.
Later, Heather will meet with Christine and accuse her of coercion, saying she had no right to try to make a deal with Phyllis behind her counsel’s back. “You’re starting to sound as desperate as Phyllis,” Christine will reply. But Heather isn’t having it. “This is bordering on the territory of prosecutorial misconduct,” she’ll say. “I’m going to the judge with a motion to have you removed from the case.”
At the GCAC, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will come to Audra’s door, walk into her room, and put her on blast. “You left something linking me to that singer issue, knowing full well the damage it could do to me if it ever got out!” he’ll shout. “Which it has!” He’ll ask Audra if she’s that incompetent, or if she just deliberately tried to screw him over. But she’ll say she has no idea what he’s talking about. He’ll remind her about the singer who went to jail for statutory rape after his tour ended.
However, Audra will tell Tucker it’s not her fault, and they shouldn’t overreact. “The junk mail remained on one of the servers and guess who found it – Adam fricken Newman!” he’ll tell Audra. “You got careless and you put us both in jeopardy and now you’re gonna fix it.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Summer Wants The Truth
Tucker will head to Phyllis’ room and tell her if Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) erases all the evidence, he’ll produce the EMT. But if she wants his testimony, she’ll have to pay for it herself. Summer will come to the door and will be suspicious when she sees Tucker there. She’ll say she heard about the plea deal and she doesn’t want Phyllis to take it. She’ll say the EMT coming back into the mix seems a little too convenient. And she’ll plead with Phyllis to tell her the truth.
Meanwhile, after another lovemaking session in the Newman suite, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will run into Tucker at the bar. He’ll proceed to tell them Adam’s coming after Newman Media. Then he’ll backstab Audra by asking them if she is the person they want running the company when that happens. “I have every confidence in Audra to handle whatever’s thrown at her,” Nate will say, as he scowls at Tucker.
Finally, Audra will arrive at Adam’s place and tell him she’d like to make a deal. She’ll say it’s as much in his best interest to keep it a secret as it is to her and Tucker. “There’s no proof that you and Tucker weren’t involved from the very beginning,” he’ll reply. “So to me, you and Tucker have the most to lose.” Then Adam will make her an offer. “I want Newman Media,” he’ll say. “You have to convince my father that merging it with my company is a smart and lucrative idea.” But will Audra agree to do Adam’s bidding?
