The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, July 24 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Summers) will get some troubling news.
Also coming up, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will make Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) an offer. Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) doesn’t want Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to walk away from Jabot.
Y&R spoilers tease Jack will return from New York and he won’t be happy. He’ll tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Diane that Ashley can legally take her company and patents from Jabot, if she can show just cause. And she’s planning to use Diane’s past against them. Billy will suggest they have Diane step down from Jabot. “Absolutely not,” a stubborn Jack will say. “We are not going to cave to Ashley.” Billy will say he understands. “But know, this is about to get very ugly.”

Meanwhile, Tucker and Ashley will arrive at the Chancellor estate, with housewarming gifts for Abby and Devon. Tucker will pour them all champagne and he’ll make a toast. “Devon, seeing you here so happy and settled, it’s more than a dad could wish for,” he’ll say. “To new beginnings, to life, love, joy and laughter.”
Then Tucker will tell them he and Ashley are getting married in a couple of weeks. “We don’t know about the venue yet, but…” Ashley will say she wants Abby and Devon to be happy for them. “You have our blessing, under one condition,” Abby will say. “You stop looking at wedding venues and you let Devon and me throw your wedding here.” And the happy couple will be thrilled by the offer.
Ashley will return home and immediately start arguing with Jack. But Diane will surprise them both when she says she’s going to walk away from Jabot. “I refuse to be used as ammunition for your sister and Tucker to hurt the company.” Then she’ll turn to Ashley. “But that leaves you with a little problem, doesn’t it?” she’ll ask. “If you’re telling the truth about why the two of you are doing this, then it would be reasonable to assume you would back off. Unless of course, I’m just a convenient excuse.”

However, Jack will say Diane’s not going anywhere. He’ll tell Ashley she can have her part of Jabot and will sign whatever papers are necessary. “You are so disgusting Jack,” Ashley will reply. “That you would actually give away such a large portion of the company you spent your whole life building because of her?”
At the GCAC, Phyllis will panic when Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) informs her Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) isn’t dropping the charges. She’ll start worrying about Carson (Walter Belenky) and suggest they put him into protective custody, in case someone convinces him to recant his statement. “What are you getting at?” Heather will ask. “I need your complete honesty. Either come clean with me now, or you’re going to have to find yourself another attorney.”
Phyllis will admit Tucker convinced Carson to testify on her behalf. “He quite literally has my life in his hands.” Heather will ask if Carson is telling the truth. “Was Carson a witness, or not?” Phyllis will say he absolutely was, he saw it all through the window. Heather will say they need to focus on deactivating Tucker’s threat. But they won’t realize Tucker is watching them. And when Heather leaves, he’ll follow her.
Finally, Phyllis will have a short chat with Billy about her daughter. Then Heather will return. She’ll tell Phyllis they need to talk in private. “It seems Carson has disappeared,” she’ll say.
