The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, July 18 reveals Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will put two and two together.
Also coming up, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will tell Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) the charges against Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) should be dropped. Plus, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will advise Summer. And Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will celebrate their success.
Y&R spoilers tease Heather will sit down with Christine. She’ll tell her Phyllis’ story was corroborated by an eyewitness. “There’s no reason to drag this out,” she’ll continue. “The charges should be dropped and Phyllis should be released, immediately.” Christine will say that’s not happening. “It is all too convenient and very well rehearsed.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Christine Believes Phyllis Is Guilty
Christine will admit Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) was a psychotic thug and a conman. But she doesn’t believe Stark was holding a knife to Phyllis’ throat when she collapsed at the gala. “You’re trying to convince me of something that isn’t true,” Christine will say. “That Phyllis is innocent.” But Heather will be adamant that she is. “What I know is that you are historically unable to give Phyllis the benefit of the doubt,” she’ll tell Christine.
Meanwhile, Kyle will show up at Audra’s suite, looking for another roll in the hay. After they have sex, she’ll ask how Summer feels about him working with her. “She doesn’t trust you and she told me to watch my back,” he’ll reply. As Audra opens the door for Kyle to leave, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be standing there. He’ll be taken aback, but will tell Kyle he’s looking forward to seeing him at Newman Media tomorrow.
At the Abbott estate, Summer will arrive. She’ll tell Diane her mother was arrested. Diane will say she knows and Kyle was with her when she found out. “How did he react?” Summer will ask. Diane will say he was as shocked as she was. Summer will ask where Kyle is and Diane will say he went out. She’ll also mention he’s been restless since their separation.
“Now that your mother’s been captured, I am going to get on with my own life and I hope you and Kyle do the same,” Diane will tell her. “Whether that’s together, or apart.” Then Summer will ask her where Kyle went. “Maybe he went looking for you,” Diane will suggest. But she’ll doubt it, since she hasn’t heard from him. As Summer gets up to leave, Kyle will return home. “What’s she doing here?” he’ll ask his mother.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Kyle Is As Arrogant As Ever
Summer will ask to talk to Kyle alone. However, he’ll tell Diane she doesn’t have to leave. Then Kyle will fold his arms over his chest and glare at his wife as she moves in closer. “You smell like perfume,” she’ll say. “Have you been with somebody?” Kyle will grin arrogantly. “Good night Summer,” he’ll say, as he heads into the kitchen.
At the GCAC bar, Nate will tell Audra he has big news. He’ll tell her all about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) meeting at the ranch and that The Mustache is rearranging the whole corporate structure. He’s signed off on merging McCall with Kirsten Incorporated and the company will eventually be folded into Newman. But the good news is, he’ll still be COO at Newman and Newman Media will be all hers. “Victor’s on our side,” Nate will say and they’ll toast to their success.
Finally, a shook Summer will walk into the GCAC and she’ll approach Audra and Nate. “Hello Summer,” Audra will say. “Audra,” a shocked Summer will reply, as she gets a whiff of the vixen’s perfume. But will Summer confront her?
