The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, July 14 reveals Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will offer Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) a deal for her freedom.

Also coming up, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) wants to help her son fix his marriage. Plus, Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) neighborly gesture will take a turn. And Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will make an arrest.

Y&R spoilers tease Diane will encourage Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to forgive his wife. She’ll remind him how happy he and Summer were together but he’ll say he can’t forgive her. “Summer did a horrible thing but I am trying to see past it for your sake,” Diane will say. Kyle will tell her he knows she wants to help but he has to get through it in his own way.

At Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) penthouse, Nate will arrive, with a bottle of wine. They’ll crack it open and Lily will say she isn’t over what he did. “You dating Victoria is like you throwing everything you did in our faces.” Nate will admit he crossed a line and feels bad about hurting Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi). “But the truth is, I’ve never been more comfortable in my own skin than I am now, with Victoria.” Lily will admit it’s terrifying to hear. “Elena was your conscience and Victoria can’t give you that.”

Meanwhile, Phyllis will knock on a hotel suite door. She’ll walk inside to find Carson (Walter Belenky), the EMT. “Oh my God, it’s really you,” she’ll say. “I thought this was a trap.” But she’ll think Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) found him. “Actually, I’m your miracle worker,” Tucker will say. A surprised Phyllis will ask if SWAT is coming.

“It’s not what you think,” Tucker will reply. “I simply want to make you an offer.” He’ll tell her he’s paid off Carson, who is willing to testify he saw Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) attack her. “I don’t understand why you’re doing this. There’s nothing between us,” she’ll say. “I want you to tell me what this is all about.”

But Tucker will tell Phyllis she should be grateful and indebted to him for his generosity. After Carson leaves, Phyllis will ask what he wants from her. He’ll say he and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) want to take over Jabot and get Diane out of the way. And what better way to do that than for her to return. But Phyllis will point out her daughter’s company is part of Jabot. “I promise you Marchetti will come out of this unscathed,” Tucker will say. All he wants is for Phyllis to be a constant presence in Diane’s life.

Later, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will show up and tell Phyllis that Michael had to fly to Singapore to help Gloria Bardwell (Edith Chapman), who got herself into a legal entanglement. Phyllis will balk but Heather will say she doesn’t have much choice. “So what’s it gonna be?” Phyllis will tell her she’s hired. After Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) arrive, Heather will call Christine and say her client is ready to turn herself in.

Finally, Phyllis, Heather, Daniel and Summer will walk down the stairs to find Christine and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) waiting at the GCAC entrance. “You have outdone yourself,” Christine will say. “You have put this town through hell, you’ve wasted police resources. And now you just waft down the stairs like you’re some kind of prom queen?” Chance will cuff her and read Phyllis her rights, while Tucker films it from the bar. Then he’ll send the footage to Diane.
