The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, July 12 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will suggest to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that he reach out to his brother.

Also coming up, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will move out of the penthouse, and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will move in. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will consider Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) offer. And Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will be interested in the position at Marchetti.

Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea will meet up with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) at the park. She’ll tell her about Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) offer. Chloe will encourage her to take it. Of course, Chloe will also think of all the opportunities it could mean for her. Then Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will arrive and he’ll say she should go for it. “I think you’re right, I think I have to do it,” Chelsea will say.

At the penthouse, Devon and Abby will pack up and leave. Later, they’ll meet up with Lily at Society. Devon will tease his sister, asking her how much time Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will be spending at the penthouse. Lily will blush and laugh. Then they’ll pass her the keys and Lily will tell them she’s so honored. And she’ll arrive at the penthouse to find Daniel already there. He’ll have a bottle of champagne chilling and roses throughout.

Meanwhile, Sharon will tell Adam if they merge companies, they could run it together. “Why in a million years would you think it’s a good idea for us to partner up?” Adam will ask. Sharon will tell Adam she could use Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) company to make a difference.

But Adam will ask why she needs him or McCall to make Kirsten Incorporated a force for good. “Your company is media,” Sharon will reply. “Mine is a technology that carries that product to the consumer. We could be more effective, more efficient and more lucrative together.” Adam will accuse her of making the offer out of pity and she’ll get annoyed. But he’ll also point out it could damage their friendship.

“I don’t think this is nearly the risk to our friendship that you think it is,” she’ll say. “I don’t think that being business partners is going to change that.” Then Adam will tell her he’s not saying no and he sees the value in Kirsten’s company. “And I owe you a lot,” he’ll continue. “So if I can be any use to you, I have to consider what you’re suggesting.” Afterwards, Adam will take a call and he’ll chuckle. “Newman Media won’t know what hit ’em,” he’ll say.

Finally, Nick will tell Sally a part of him will always care about Adam. But he doesn’t trust him. “He has let me and the family down so many times.” Sally will ask if he can work with Adam. “Vic is clearly trying to squeeze me out of Newman, so I think I have to consider it,” he’ll reply. Sally will say she agrees with his father. “If you can handle it, I think you should say yes.” Nick will be surprised by her change of heart.

Sally will tell him the letter Adam sent her seemed like a cry for help. But it also made her realize Adam suffered a loss as well. “I’m glad you finally see it that way,” Nick will reply. Sally will tell him she feels guilty for the way that she brushed Adam off. “I think he needs someone and that someone could be you.” But will Nick take Sally’s advice and join Adam at McCall?
