The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, July 6 reveals Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will question Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) about the gifts she received.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will put Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) on the spot. Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get pep talks from Nick and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will warn Audra.
Y&R spoilers tease Audra will meet Victor for breakfast and he’ll say he doesn’t like lines being crossed. “I asked you to come here to give you a serious warning,” the Mustache will say. Then he’ll quiz her about her encounter with Adam at the Jazz Club. She’ll say Adam initiated the conversation. And Victor will tell her Adam’s coming after Newman Media. But Audra will promise Victor the company will be safe under her watch.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nick Balks At His Father’s Suggestion
At the GCAC, Adam will slide a note under Sally’s door. She’ll pick it up and get angry. When Nick arrives, she’ll show it to him. “I was hoping he would listen to me when I told him to give you some space,” he’ll say. But he’ll admit that he wasn’t there when she needed him. “I don’t blame you,” Sally will say. Then she’ll throw the note from Adam in the trash can.
After Nick leaves, Sally will get a visit from Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). They’ll talk business and Sally will come up with some creative ideas for the Chancellor Winters office. Chloe will say it’s nice to see her smile again. Once she’s alone, Sally will take Adam’s note out of the trash and will get emotional as she reads it.
Nick will head to Society and meet with Victor, who will tell him he needs to help Adam, who he believes is on a dangerous trajectory. “I’m asking you to give him one more chance,” he’ll say to Nick, and he’ll ask him to join forces with Adam at McCall. When Nick balks, Victor will tell him his brother needs him more than his sister does. “I think if you were willing to support him, there’s a chance that he will straighten out.”
At the GCAC, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will tell Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) her game is starting to take off. Then Summer will walk over and ask if she’d like to run Marchetti with her. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will pipe in and ask what Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be doing. Summer will tell him Kyle’s leaving. A stunned Daniel will take her aside and ask what’s going on. “Kyle and I have separated,” Summer will tell him. But she’ll say she’s optimistic they’ll get back together.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam Issues Her A Warning
Meanwhile, Audra will return to the hotel and a staff member will hand her flowers, a box and the note from Kyle. She’ll read it and smile. But Summer will walk by and see her. “Beautiful flowers, someone must be really trying to impress you,” she’ll say to Audra.
However, Audra will say it’s to congratulate her on her first day as acting CEO at Newman Media. “And they got you jewelry too, I recognize the gift box, the same jeweler I go to,” Summer will comment. “You must have already impressed my aunt.” As Summer heads for the stairs, Audra will ask if she’s staying there. “It’s temporary,” she’ll reply. “Like your new position.”
Finally, Audra will approach Adam at the bar. He’ll say he knows her new job as Newman Media CEO is temporary and he’ll ask where her loyalties lie. “Word on the street is you’re no stranger to betraying your employer, so what’s the chance of you doing that again?” But Audra will say she’s not going anywhere. “You have made a big mistake underestimating me,” Adam will warn her. “And I hope you get ready for the biggest battle of your life.”
