The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, April 7 reveals Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will learn Newman Enterprises is no longer interested in buying McCall Unlimited.
Also coming up, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will tell Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) she’ll move in with him. Plus, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will ask Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) out to dinner. And Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will not be pleased with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Y&R spoilers tease Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will drop by Devon’s place. He’ll say he wants to give their partnership at Chancellor Winters another chance. She’ll be surprised but also scared that they’ll end up in the same place. However, he’ll assure her they won’t. Devon will say the lounge dedication reminded him of the importance of family. And Lily will say she’d love to work with him again.
Y&R Scoop – Abby Tells Chance About Devon’s Offer
Meanwhile, Victoria will tell Victor she withdrew the offer to buy Tucker’s company. She’ll say the pitfalls outweigh the positives. But Victor will be angry. “The real issue is Adam, isn’t it?” However, Victoria will say she just changed her mind. “Why are you so reluctant to have Adam reunite with his family?” he’ll ask. Victoria will tell Victor to acquire McCall himself, then he can just hand Adam the company. “Don’t ever forget who handed you this company,” Victor will reply.
On the Crimson Lights patio, Chance will make a call, asking to put a rush on the toxicology report on Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) blood. He’ll hear Abby say hello to him and he’ll turn around. They’ll discuss what happened to Phyllis and she’ll thank him for looking into it, on behalf of her family.
Then Abby will tell her ex-husband they need to discuss something. “This isn’t going to be easy to hear,” she’ll say. “Devon asked me and Dominic to move in with him.” Chance will tell her to go for it. “I’m fine with it, really.” So, she’ll head over to Devon’s and tell him she’s moving in.
Inside the coffee shop, Adam will ask Sharon for his usual. “Wait, you don’t know,” she’ll say. “I guess there’s no easy way to say this but Phyllis passed away.” He’ll be stunned and they’ll sit down to talk about it. But then he’ll get a message from Victor asking to meet right away. Sharon will join Chance on the patio and he’ll tell her what went down with Abby. She’ll counsel him and he’ll say he can either repay her for the therapy session, or take her out to dinner. Of course, she’ll choose dinner.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Just Go Their Separate Ways
Finally, Adam will arrive at Society and Victor will say they hit a road block. Victoria is no longer interested in acquiring McCall. Adam will remind Victor that Newman Enterprises belongs to him. “So override her,” he’ll reply. But Victor will say he put Victoria in charge for a reason and he’s not going to disrespect her decisions.
“Right, because whenever it’s a choice between me and Victoria it’s not really a choice, it’s game over,” Adam will reply. Then he’ll tell Victor it’s best if they just go their separate ways. “I’ll figure out my future on my own.”
