The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, January 26 suggests Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will hear stunning news from his father.
Also coming up, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will be confused by Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) pitch. Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will ask Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) for a week. And Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will put Nate on blast.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will show up for a meeting at Newman Media with Nate and Audra. Nate will ask where Daniel is – he wants to hear about his vision directly from him. Phyllis will say she and Daniel are partners and she’s there to gage interest. She’ll tell them her son has created a project that is going to change gaming. But Audra will ask if they’re the first to hear the pitch, “or is this a bidding war?” Phyllis will say she just wanted to let them in on the ground floor. After she leaves, Audra and Nate will wonder what Phyllis is up to.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Billy Says He Was Wrong About Him
At Crimson Lights, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will make his pitch to Daniel on why he should consider working with him. He’ll say he understands there’s a contract with Chancellor Winters and there may also be interest from Newman Media. But both those companies are a bad fit. Tucker will tell Daniel if he wants autonomy, then he’s the one to work with. He’ll add that together they can really achieve something meaningful.
However, Lily will walk in and overhear. She’ll tell Tucker that Daniel is under contract with her. Tucker will say since there’s a problem with the IPO, she can’t expect everyone should wait around for them to resolve it. But Lily will remind him he’s the reason there was a problem in the first place. “Daniel this guy is unbelievable, you can’t trust him,” she’ll say. She’ll ask Daniel for one week to make it happen. “And if I don’t, I’ll let you out of your contract.”
Then Nate and Audra will arrive and they’ll tell Daniel they just met with his mother about his gaming project. Daniel will be upset and will rush off to confront Phyllis. As Nate and Audra sit down to talk, Billy will walk in. “Boy oh boy was I wrong about you, I really thought you were better than this,” he’ll say to Nate. “I thought you actually cared about your family but I’m wrong.” He’ll tell Nate he’s fully embraced the cliché of a ruthless c-suite executive. “Backstab your family, jump to Newman Enterprises and hire Audra. Congratulations.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Was Right All Along
Meanwhile, Kyle and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will walk into the Abbott living room and see Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) there with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). “There’s something the two of you should know,” he’ll tell them. “My relationship with Diane has taken a turn, romantically speaking.” Kyle and Summer will look shocked and Diane will ask how they feel. Kyle will say he knew they were getting closer but wasn’t expecting this. He’s not sure how he feels. After they leave, Diane will say Kyle didn’t seem pleased at all.
Finally, Skyle will head to Society for breakfast. “I guess my mom was right,” Summer will say. “Diane had her sights on Jack all along.” Kyle will ask if she means his mom came back for Jack. “No,” she’ll say. “Of course not. But you gotta admit, uniting with Jack is a perk.” Kyle will admit he’s worried that if things fall apart, his father will be devastated. “I just wish they had kept things platonic.”
Summer will ask him if he’s still planning to work with her grandfather to sabotage Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). He’ll say he is but he’s got everything under control. However, Summer still doesn’t want him involved. Then Kyle will get a text from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). “Let’s meet to discuss next steps.” Summer will ask what the text was about. “Umm, nothing important,” he’ll lie.
