The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, January 3 suggests Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) hasn’t given up on Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Also coming up, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) advises Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Plus, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) prepare to meet an expectant mother. And Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) meets up with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).
Y&R spoilers tease Christine will walk into Crimson Lights and be surprised to see Danny there. She’ll tell him she’d love to talk, but she’s meeting Mariah and Tessa about an adoption. Danny will smile and tell her he’ll wait. Christine will join Teriah, who are excited about meeting Delphine tomorrow. But they’re also nervous. Christine will say the mother is enthusiastic about them. Danny will listen in and he’ll flashback to when he and Cricket first met.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Christine Mentions Phyllis’ Photo
After Mariah and Tessa leave to catch their flight, Christine will rejoin Danny. She’ll mention she saw the photo of him with his son and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). “I didn’t realize you and Phyllis stayed so close in touch over the years,” she’ll say. Danny will tell Christine he’s often wondered what his life would have been like if he’d never met Phyllis. But they can’t change the past.
Meanwhile, Billy will show up at Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) place and she’ll tell him she knows something is wrong. “Lily thinks we might be done,” he’ll reply. Chelsea will blame herself, but Billy will admit he’s less than an ideal long term partner. “You two are great together, are you really willing to just give up?” she’ll ask. Billy will say when you have that conversation, nine out of ten times, you’re done. Chelsea will encourage him to contact Lily. “You helped me get my second chance, now it’s time for me to help you get yours.”
Over at Newman Media, Nate will notice something is bothering Victoria. She’ll tell him she’s concerned about Johnny Newman (Paxton Mishkind). Victoria feels as though he’s slipping away from her. But Nate will say her son will always love and respect her and she should just give him some space. And when she gets a text from Chelsea, asking if she can take Johnny and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) for pizza, Victoria will almost decline. But instead, she’ll respond that they’ll work something out.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Is Willing To Listen
At Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will apologize to Lily for Newman Media’s part in Nate betraying Chancellor Winters. Lily will thank him and say she appreciates it. “Because it was very shocking, the way that everything went down.” She’ll say a lot of people let her down, but that doesn’t change how much it hurts. “Are you talking about Nate, or Billy?” Nick will ask. He’ll say he knows what Billy is like and he’s willing to listen. But Lily will politely decline.
Finally, after Nick leaves, she’ll get a text from Billy, asking to meet. They’ll meet up at the Glam Club and Billy will tell her their relationship is worth saving. “I’m going to fight for you, for us, for everything that we have.” Then he’ll ask her for one more chance. But Lily will say he really hurt her – it was like her feelings didn’t matter. Billy will continue to plead with her and she’ll finally relent. “You’re right,” she’ll say. “We owe it to ourselves to keep trying.”
