The Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) scoop for the week of July 25 hints Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will be shot during a mugging.
Also coming up this week, Eric Brady (Greg Martsolf) will worry when the same mugger puts a gun to Nicole Walker’s (Arienne Zucker) head. Plus, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) will give Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) some advice. And although Ben Weston departed Salem on July 8, viewers haven’t seen the last of Robert Scott Wilson.
DOOL spoilers tease Wilson will be back, portraying an entirely different character. He’ll play Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) brother Alex. Which is bizarre, to say the least. Then again, this is the same soap in which Kyle Lowder played both Brady Black and Rex Brady.

But at least Lowder didn’t return to Salem as Rex mere weeks after he departed as Brady. However, there will be a tongue in cheek line in the weekly preview acknowledging the switch. “What the hell do I look like?” Alex will ask Marlena Evans (Deirdre Hall). “The necktie killer?”
Other DOOL spoilers tease Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will consider an offer from Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). Plus, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will finally make up her mind about which twin she wants to be with. And Paulina will suggest to Roman that he forgive Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). But will he take her advice to heart?
Meanwhile, Nicole will be terrified when a mugger puts a gun to her head. However, Eric will arrive on the scene and try to diffuse the situation. “Just let her go,” Eric will say to the petty criminal. “No one has to get hurt.”
Days Of Our Lives Scoop – Ava Vitale Gets Some Heartbreaking News
Finally, Jake and Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun) will discuss their future together. And afterwards, he’ll decide he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Jake will ask Ava to be his wife. She’ll say yes and will be over the moon as they head home to celebrate.
But the couple will be abruptly knocked out of their reverie, when the mugger strikes again. He’ll point a gun at Jake and Ava. And as Jake takes a step toward him, he’ll pull the trigger. DOOL spoilers show Ava will get some heartbreaking news later in the week. So, is Jake going to die?
