The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) scoop for Tuesday, May 17 reveals Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will finally learn what drove her to drink on New Year’s Eve.
Also coming up, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will look to her daughter for advice on her love life.
B&B spoilers tease Taylor can’t fault Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) for rushing to Brooke’s side with some very pertinent information. After all, she’s the one who told him his wife needed to know. But that doesn’t mean she has to like it.
B&B Daily Scoop – This News Could Change Everything
The psychiatrist and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will discuss their concern that Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) involvement in what happened to Brooke could change everything. “It worries me if this could change things for you and dad,” Steffy said to Taylor on Monday. They both realize Ridge may forgive Brooke’s kiss with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and everything that occurred subsequently.
If that were to happen, Taylor fears she will lose any chance she has of reuniting with Ridge. No doubt, Steffy will put her own worries aside. She’ll try to reassure her mother that her father loves her. She’ll tell her not to give up hope that Ridge will choose her. But will he?
Meanwhile, Brooke was pleasantly surprised when Ridge arrived for a visit on Monday. She was hoping he had decided to move back in with her. But instead, he had a more serious matter to discuss.

Brooke then found out that Sheila was the one who shot Steffy and killed Finn (Tanner Novlan). Ridge said that during Sheila’s latest go-round in LA, she hurt a lot of people, including her. “She hasn’t done anything to me for years, except idle threats,” Brooke responded.
“That’s not true,” Ridge told his wife. “She switched the labels on the champagne bottles. You thought you were drinking non- alcoholic champagne but she made sure it was the real thing.” On Tuesday, Brooke will feel a degree of comfort, finally knowing what compelled her to drink that night. But will the truth about New Year’s Eve pave the way towards a Bridge reunion?
