Young And The Restless Scoop: Nick Newman Finds Out Ashland Locke Faked His Cancer

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, March 1 suggests a furious Nick Newman (Joshua Newman) will learn the truth about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).

Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will fill in Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and ask Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to accompany him to LA. Plus, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be stunned by Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) decision and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets more proof.

Y&R spoilers tease Jack will tell Billy about the strange texts and that his son is dead. “I’m leaving for Los Angeles later today,” he’ll say. Billy will volunteer to go with him, as will Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). “This kind of grief, this kind of pain, I know it,” Billy will say. “It shuts your brain down. So let me be there for you, to support you, please.” But Jack doesn’t want his loss to compound theirs and he’ll ask Phyllis to go with him instead.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Traci Thanks Phyllis For Going With Him

At the Grand Phoenix, Traci will find Phyllis with her suitcase and ready to head to the airport. She’ll tell Traci she’s going with Jack, whether she likes it or not. However, Traci will say she’s there to thank her. “I’m counting on you Phyllis, to give him what he needs. Please, take care of my brother.”

Meanwhile, Ashland will find out Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is the one digging for dirt on him. Victoria will walk in and Ashland will hand her the contract that makes him co-CEO. He’s fast tracked it. “It is an excellent contract, I’m ready to sign right now,” he’ll say. Victoria will look hesitant. He’ll ask her if she changed her mind. She’ll say no. “It’s time that we take the next step and we make you co-CEO.”

Nikki will arrive and be stunned by what she overhears. “Did I hear you correctly, you’re changing your titles to co-CEO?” Victoria will say it’s the right thing to do. Nikki will convince Victoria to let Victor know what she plans to do, before she signs anything. She’ll also lay it on thick and tell Ashland she hopes he’s not offended. Of course, he’ll put on a big smile and say not at all.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Victor’s News Will Change Everything

Finally, Victor will get a text from Michael. He spoke with a second doctor at the clinic who’s given him more evidence. “This is big.” Victor will walk into Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) office, with Nick behind him. “Boys, I have some news for you that will change everything,” Victor will say. “It puts into question everything we know about Ashland Locke and his motives.” Nick will say he wants nothing to do with it. The last time he dug up dirt on Ashland for Victor he got burned.

Victor will tell him that he and Adam need to hear what he has to say, then they can make their decision. He’ll spill the news that Ashland went to Peru to falsify his medical records. “The point is, Ashland Locke was never sick at all.” But Adam will ask why Ashland would do such a thing. “It’s far more sinister than that, it’s a long con,” Victor will explain. “He was after power and control, over two huge business empires.”

Then Victor will point out that everyone fell for Ashland’s con. “Except you son,” he’ll say to Nick. “I knew it, he was just a liar and a criminal,” Nick will reply. “He took advantage of Victoria’s love for his own greed and financial gain. I’m gonna kill him.”
