The Young And The Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 29 suggest Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will give Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) her husband’s wedding ring.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have it out with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tries to comfort his daughter and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) worries that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is still obsessed with Bowie.
Y&R spoilers tease Nick wants to work things out with Phyllis. She believes their problems began when he took issue with her going after Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). Nick will say the thing that matters is that they love each other and they’re happy. “Are you happy?” Phyllis will ask. “Right now I’m not happy and I think if you were honest with yourself you’d say the same thing.”

He’ll admit they’re in a rough patch but need to focus on each other. “We are a lot more than video games and hot sex,” Nick will tell her. “Some people say we’re easy and comfortable and I disagree with that.” An angry Phyllis will ask him who he’s going to for advice about their relationship. He’ll say it doesn’t matter. “I don’t need other people’s opinions,” Nick will tell her. “Especially not Jack’s, who’s off waiting in the wings for you.”
At Chancellor Park, Tessa and Mariah will take a walk. “What if what Christine said is true,” Mariah will ask. Tessa will reply that Abby will be devastated. Not just Abby, Mariah will say. “What about poor little Bowie?” Tessa will say they need to stay positive. Mariah is worried about what Abby’s mood is doing to the baby. But Tessa is worried Mariah is becoming too attached to Bowie again.
Meanwhile, Victor will arrive at the Chancellor estate to check on his daughter. Abby will tell him about the building exploding in Valencia, Spain. Victor will say someone bombed the building when they found out Chance was using it as a safe house. “He and his colleagues were directly targeted.” Four of those he was working with have been classified as killed in the line of duty, Victor will tell her. But Abby will still be in denial. “We can’t give up, Chance wouldn’t want us to,” she’ll say.

Dominic will start crying and Victor will pick him up. Abby will say she shouldn’t be around the baby right now and leave. When Mariah walks in a minute later, Victor will quickly hand him off to her. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will come in and they’ll express their mutual concern for Abby. Then bearer of bad news Christine will show up.
Abby and Victor will return to the estate and Christine will tell them Chance’s wedding ring was found at the bomb site. But once again Abby will be in denial. She’ll say he probably wasn’t wearing it because he was undercover. However, Christine will tell her his story was that he was a married business man. He never took the ring off. Abby will break down as Christine hands it to her. “It can’t be,” she’ll sob, as Victor holds her.
