Bold And The Beautiful Poll: Eric Forrester Is Alone While Quinn Forrester And Carter Walton Kiss

The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) scoop reveals the open marriage storyline has divided fans. Some find it unique but others find it offensive.

Just in case you’ve missed a few weeks of B&B, here’s the scoop. In a nutshell, Eric Forrester (John McCook), is suffering from erectile disfunction. He recently reunited with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and came up with a plan to keep her, uh, satisfied. He gave his wife permission to have sex with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint Victor) on the side.

Although this plot has generated a lot of buzz, it’s also caused an uproar among some viewers. Which may be why McCook has weighed in on it. Last week, he posted a message to fans on Instagram and asked them to hang in there. “I know there are a lot of different reactions and opinions…but the important thing is that you’re watching and that you’re all engaged in this story,” he said.

B&B Poll – McCook Views Eric Forrester As His Friend

Eric Forrester is my friend, is how I think of him, he’s not me, but he’s my friend” McCook continued. “I’ve seen him through a lot of different evolutions. There will be a resolution one of these days. Love you for watching and stay there with us, it’s a good story.”

Then Sofer replied and told McCook he was one of her favorite people ever. “You know my feelings about this story and I think you expressed yourself in the best way possible.” But the big question is – how does Sofer really feel about it?

Many fans have also made it perfectly clear how they feel. “This story could have been handled with care and instead it’s been poorly written,” one fan commented, and added that she admired the actors’ commitment to the show.

Bold And The Beautiful Poll – Some Fans Find The Plotline Interesting

“I’m pretty disgusted by this story,” another viewer said. “I’ve been watching since day 1, but this is gross.” However, yet another fan said it was “a great storyline! It’s important to discuss! I actually find it very interesting!” Then someone else commented they were “here for it. Bring it on.”

There are many open marriages. They are called…sneaking around /cheating. And the other spouse doesn’t know. Until they catch the other half. Having an open marriage take, all the glamour, and excitment away.
