The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, August 2 suggests Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will beg Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for another chance.
Also coming up, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will be unnerved by Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) shift in attitude towards her. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) reunite and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) spend time in New York.
Y&R spoilers tease Ashland will give Victoria a tour of his penthouse. She’ll point out some artwork she loves and he’ll say he’s never really looked at it before. He’ll decide it’s the only thing he’s going to bring back to Genoa City with him. He wants to let go of everything he had before he met her. He’ll mention he has a doctor’s appointment and ask her to come with him.

Meanwhile, Kyle will arrive at the Abbott estate, only to find Tara whining about how Ashland is in New York, selling their homes. Kyle will quip that knowing she’ll essentially be homeless must be pretty terrifying and make her worry about her options. She’ll ask him what he’s driving at.
“I’m only mentioning what I observed,” Kyle will tell her. “You’ve never mentioned these houses before now.” Tara will say it looks like Kyle has let Phyllis get in his head. “She planted a seed and it grows and it grows. And I can’t live this way and I won’t,” she’ll shout and then head upstairs.
At Society, Jack will walk in and see Sally sitting at the bar. She’ll point out that they were supposed to have a date there right around this time. “Is it too much to hope that you came to find me?” He’ll say nothing. “We were having so much fun weren’t we?” Sally will continue. “What we have is far too special and rare to just throw away for no good reason.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Newman Will Be Her Eyes And Ears
Then she’ll try to point out the whole issue is about how she got her new job at JCV. She’ll lie and say she didn’t cheat to get the position. And she’ll beg him for another shot. “I saw the person you are once before and recently I tried to convince myself that maybe I could forget that,” Jack will say. “That was a mistake. I can’t.”
Finally, after Phyllis and Nick make love, she’ll fill him in on everything she’s found out about Tara and Sally. She’ll tell him she’s going to LA to meet with Angelina Marchetti (Cristina Serafini) and Eric Forrester (John McCook). Phyllis will ask him to be her eyes and ears in Genoa City. He’ll tell her she has his full support. In the lobby, they’ll run into Sally. She’ll ask where Phyllis is going. “Somewhere,” she’ll respond with a smile.
